How does it work?
Targets the superficial fat compartments
Profhilo® Structura is designed to be placed into the superficial facial fat layer rather than the dermis. These fat compartments play an important role in facial support and can become thinner and less stable with age, contributing to flattening, sagging and loss of contour.
High-concentration hybrid hyaluronic acid
It contains hybrid cooperative complexes of high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid created using IBSA’s patented NAHYCO® technology. This gives the product high spreadability and tissue integration without the chemical cross-linking used in traditional fillers.
Adipose tissue support and remodelling
Once placed within the fat compartment, Profhilo® Structura integrates through the tissue and is designed to support adipocyte viability and adipose-tissue homeostasis. Clinical studies have reported improvement in soft-tissue thickness, firmness and facial volume loss while maintaining a natural appearance.
Structural improvement without a traditional filler effect
Unlike a conventional volumising filler, the aim is not to create projection or sculpt individual features.
