PIGMENTATION & UNEVEN SKIN TONE

Brighten, balance and restore even complexion.

Pigmentation and uneven skin tone are among the most stubborn skin concerns to treat. Whether caused by sun damage, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, melasma, or hormonal changes, discolouration can significantly impact confidence and skin appearance. At Glow Face Aesthetic, we address pigmentation with a clinically-proven, structured protocol designed to lighten existing dark spots, suppress melanin activity at the root, and prevent future discolouration through comprehensive treatment and protection.

Why Consistency & Sun Protection Matter:

Pigmentation is one of the most persistent skin concerns because melanin production can reactivate with minimal UV exposure. A single treatment will not produce lasting results — consistent clinical care combined with rigorous daily sun protection is essential. We recommend a minimum of three sessions spaced four weeks apart, with strict SPF 50+ use daily and antioxidant layering to prevent recurrence and maintain results long term.

What to Expect:

Your pigmentation treatment journey begins with a detailed skin consultation where we assess the type, depth, and cause of your discolouration. Treatment sessions typically last 60 minutes. Most clients notice visible lightening of dark spots and improved skin tone evenness within the first two to three sessions. Results continue to develop over several weeks as the skin's natural renewal processes accelerate and melanin suppression takes effect.

Your questions, answered

Clear answers to the most common questions before booking.

Is this treatment safe for darker skin tones? Yes. Our pigmentation protocols are designed to be safe and effective for all skin types, including darker skin tones. We use evidence-based treatments and adjust intensity based on your skin's specific response.

Can you treat melasma? Yes. Melasma is one of our core pigmentation concerns. It requires consistent treatment and strict sun protection, as it can reactivate with UV exposure. We recommend a structured course of treatments combined with medical-grade SPF.

How many sessions will I need? Most clients benefit from a minimum of three sessions spaced four weeks apart. More resistant pigmentation may require additional sessions. Results are assessed throughout and the treatment plan adjusted accordingly.

What's the most important part of pigmentation treatment? Sun protection. Without strict daily SPF 50+ use, pigmentation will reactivate and undo treatment results. We provide detailed guidance on sun protection and skincare throughout your treatment journey.

Is there downtime? Depends on the treatment chosen. Chemical peels may cause slight redness or mild flaking for 24–48 hours. Microneedling typically has minimal downtime. We'll advise based on your chosen protocol.
