Profhilo is a skin remodelling treatment made of highly purified hyaluronic acid, designed to improve hydration, elasticity, and overall skin quality. Unlike traditional fillers, it does not create volume or structure. Instead, it disperses within the skin to restore hydration and stimulate regenerative processes. As skin ages, it loses both water content and structural proteins such as collagen and elastin. This leads to reduced elasticity, thinning of the skin, and the development of fine lines and crepey texture. Profhilo addresses these changes by delivering a high concentration of hyaluronic acid into the dermal layers, where it binds water and provides sustained hydration. In addition to hydration, Profhilo stimulates fibroblast activity, supporting the production of collagen and elastin. This improves the skin’s ability to maintain its structure, resulting in increased firmness, elasticity, and overall resilience. Rather than acting as a filler, it improves the quality of the skin itself, making it smoother, more supple, and more evenly textured. The treatment is particularly suited to individuals experiencing dehydration, early skin laxity, loss of elasticity, or a general decline in skin quality. It is often used when the skin appears dull, less responsive, or unable to retain moisture, even with topical skincare. The product is injected at specific points, allowing it to spread evenly beneath the skin. Once placed, it integrates into the tissue and begins to act both as a hydrator and a stimulator of regenerative activity. A course of treatment is required for optimal results. Most individuals need: 2 sessions, spaced approximately 4 weeks apart Maintenance treatments are typically recommended every 4–6 months, depending on skin condition and desired results.
