Cellulite is caused by structural changes in the skin and underlying tissue - including fibrous septae pulling the skin down and reduced collagen support - which create a dimpled or uneven appearance. At Glow Face Aesthetic, we address cellulite with PLLA (Poly-L-Lactic Acid), a collagen-stimulating treatment that improves skin structure and firmness over time, resulting in a smoother, more even surface. Preparation Before treatment, a thorough consultation and medical assessment are carried out to ensure suitability and to discuss your goals. The treatment area is cleansed and marked for precision, and topical anaesthetic may be applied for comfort. Clients are advised to: Avoid alcohol, aspirin, or anti-inflammatory medications for 24 hours before treatment (unless prescribed by your doctor). Ensure skin in the treatment area is healthy, without active infection or inflammation. Arrive well-hydrated to support skin recovery. Treatment Process Step 1: The treatment area is disinfected to maintain a sterile environment. Step 2: PLLA is carefully injected in precise points beneath the skin, targeting areas of dimpling and volume loss. Step 3: The product works gradually by stimulating your own collagen production, rather than filling or replacing tissue instantly. Step 4: Post-treatment, gentle massage of the treated area is recommended to ensure even distribution of the product and to reduce the risk of nodules. Treatment typically takes 30–60 minutes depending on the size of the area. Results PLLA works progressively, so improvements become visible over 8–12 weeks as new collagen forms. Clients can expect: Gradual reduction in the appearance of dimples Improved skin firmness and elasticity Smoother and more even skin texture Results are long-lasting (often up to 2 years) but will vary depending on individual skin health, lifestyle, and maintenance. Course of Treatment For optimal improvement, a course of treatments is recommended — typically 2–4 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Collagen stimulation is cumulative, so each session builds on the results of the previous one. Periodic maintenance treatments help sustain results over time.

To achieve this, we abide by a strict 24-hour cancellation policy for all appointments whether made via email, in person, online or by telephone. If you do need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give us 24 hours notice so we can offer you a more convenient time and help you avoid a cancellation fee. Failure to notify Glow Face Aesthetic within 24 hours will result in the loss of the appointment and 100% cancellation fee or loss of a course item.
